Description
Canvas Print of Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall in the Vale of Neath south Wales, the highest of the Vale of Neath waterfalls with a footpath running behind the cascades. It is believed that Sgwd, or Scwd, Yr Eira translates from Welsh as Falls of Snow, but there is, apparently some doubt as to whether the translation is accurate. There is also a well known painting by JMW Turner of these falls with a shepherd herding a small flock of sheep behind the falls.
